About the programme
Information Technology is the study, development and application of computer systems, software and information networks. The programme trains engineers with sound knowledge, professional skills, ethics and good health who can meet the needs of the digital economy and international integration.
The programme is multidisciplinary: knowledge builds from fundamentals to specialisation in three areas — software engineering, networks and communications, and information systems — combined with graphic interface design, entrepreneurship and business economics.
Students learn in teams, through projects, hands-on classes and field visits, with companies taking part in teaching. They are assessed on products, end-of-term projects, presentations, competitions and internships. The programme has run since 2016 and is accredited to the education quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
